Lammintupa is located in the smallest municipality of South Karelia region, in the middle of the charming countryside landscape by the pond Kirveslampi. The cabin is ideal for couples for a peaceful holiday. 27 km to the west from Lappeenranta, spring-based pond Kirveslampi 60 m (length 500 m, width 300 m), hard, gently deepening clay bottom, pier and rowing boat. Wooden cabin 1966, renovated in 1984, interior surfaces are renovated in 2021, living room, kitchen. Two beds in bedroom, one bed in another bedroom (bedrooms windows have blackout curtains). WC and shower in washroom, electric sauna stove in sauna. Separate sauna on the beach in summer use during May-September (no electricity), wood burning sauna stove, cauldron in the washroom. Water must be carried to the sauna. Three firewood basket is included in the price, after that an extra fee of € 5/basket (payment directly to the owner). Fiber optic connection available. Contrary to the pictures, the cottage has been painted red in early summer 2024. Electric cars charging not possible in this cottage. There is an end road between the cabin and the lakeside sauna, which is used mainly by local summer residents. The neighbor is 25 m from Lammintupa, but the neighbor house is only occasionally used by the owner when she makes the service works. and its entrance and courtyard are away from Lammintupa. Services of Lemi municipality center 3 km (where traditional South Karelian dish särä can be tasted), Savitaipale municipality center 22 km, Lappeenranta 27 km, Taavetti fortress in Luumäki 35 km, Helsinki 226 km. Please note that the cabin is for 1-2 people only. Additional overnight guests are not allowed.
