It is possible to go to Joensuu by boat. The snowmobile route runs on the ice of the lake near the holiday home. Approx. 5 km distance to the public swimming beach in Roukalahti and the beach located in Liperi municipality center. If you want more fast-paced action, Rallycross track is 25 km away in Ylämylly. The outdoor activity center of Pärnävaara, 22 km away, offers versatile outdoor activities. There are numerous ski trails, hiking and biking trails, and downhill biking trails.
