It's rather small, but comfortable apartment in a small village Luka near Stone, It has a lovely terrace overlooking the sea, The apartment is equipped with everything you need, The hosts are very kind, We were here only one night in early April, but we can imagine spending a summer vacation here :)
We had a lovely warm welcome - the apartment was clean with a spacious terrace , sited next to the sea on a pretty , quiet harbour, Our hosts were close at hand with useful advise on places of interest etc I would love to return for a longer stay,
Awesome location in a little seaside village, The hosts - Nina and Davor - are what make the place super special, They are very kind, special people, We had dinner with them both nights, Nina is a fabulous cook - fresh grilled fish (thank you Davor), mussel risotto, veggies from the garden all served family style with wine from Davor's parents, This is a magical place and would suit travelers who are comfortable mixing in with local folks (that's why we travel, right?) and relaxing in a gorgeous location, Easy to take day trips to Ston and the rest of the Peljasic Peninsula (I think you must have a car), About an hour from Dubrovnik - easy drive, Nina/Kate Apartment exceeded all expectations and was easily one of the highlights of our 10 days traveling in Croatia, Thank you Nina and Davor!
Nina and her husband Davor were perfect hosts, making us feel welcome and special, They really went the extra mile, nothing seemed too much trouble for them, lovely lovely people! Luka itself is only a few short kilometres from Ston, It is a pretty fishing harbour with its own little beach where you can swim in the crystal clear water, The apartment is lovely, and has everything you need, The internet is a bit intermittent, but hey, who goes on holiday to spend all their time online? We have no hesitation in recommending this property, its owners and its location, Take the plunge, book now and look forward to a wonderful experience, I would add that you should spend a day in Dubrovnik and visit the old town, it is stunningly beautiful, as is Croatia,
